The Challenge:

Yiti, with its unique geographical characteristics, presented intricate challenges for geotechnical mapping, particularly concerning slope stability and geohazard assessment. The presence of inaccessible zones compounded the complexity, necessitating an innovative approach to ensure comprehensive and accurate mapping.

Our Strategy:

National Rocks deployed a combined approach, integrating traditional geotechnical mapping techniques with advanced drone technology. The objective was to ensure that every portion of the 6 km² area, including the inaccessible zones, was meticulously mapped and assessed for geotechnical stability and potential geohazards.

Execution and Technology Integration:

During the survey, drones played a pivotal role in accessing and capturing data from areas that were otherwise unreachable. The detailed aerial insights, coupled with ground data, facilitated a comprehensive geotechnical mapping that left no stone unturned.
